I’m the sort of person who’s fairly easy to please. Take today for instance. All it took was the fast and tax-free arrival of my new mini-Moo cards. I ordered these last month when Klout, together with Moo offered a box of mini Moo cards for free.
I was a tad hesitant at first. The Philippines is notorious for arbitrary taxation when it comes to packages from overseas. I didn’t want to pay upwards of 1k pesos (23USD) for a box of free business cards. But since I was just paying for shipping, I bit the bullet and signed up for the freebie.
Thank goodness I did! Not only did the cards arrive safe, sound and untaxed straight to my home, it arrived a week earlier than their estimated delivery. Yay for the free things in life. And yay for the happiness cheap thrills bring. THAT was enough to make my day. Cheap, but happy.
